On February 27, 2024, the School of Law and Economics convened its first 2024 work conference and Party Branch Member Assembly. The meeting, chaired by Vice Dean Xu Wenming, was attended by all faculty members of the institute.

III. Revising department-specific criteria for full-time faculty appointment evaluations.

IV. Coordinating re-examination procedures for 2024 master’s and doctoral admissions.

V. Discussing allocation of key 2024 national high-end think tank research projects.

VI. Planning applications for international academic conference participation in 2024.

VII. Notifying faculty about the 2024 China University of Political Science and Law "Qian Duansheng Distinguished Chair Professor," "Qian Duansheng Lecture Professor," and "Qian Duansheng Scholar" application processes.

VIII. Announcing the 2024 Young Elite Talent Program in social sciences under the Publicity Department of the Central Committee.

The meeting systematically addressed core tasks for the institute’s annual academic, pedagogical, and research initiatives while reinforcing Party-building requirements.
