On the afternoon of September 3, 2024, the School of Law and Economics convened its eighth regular working meeting of 2024. Presided over by Vice Dean Xu Wenming, the meeting was attended by all faculty members of the School.

The agenda included:

  1. Implementation of guidelines from the university’s Party and administrative work deployment meeting for the 2024-2025 autumn semester.

  2. Finalization of undergraduate and postgraduate course arrangements for the 2024-2025 autumn semester.

  3. Adjustments to teaching handover arrangements for the "Law and Economics Theory" and "Law and Finance" course instructors.

  4. Allocation of academic mentors for 2024 Law and Economics master’s candidates and coordination of orientation sessions for incoming students.

  5. Appointment of class advisors for the 2024 Law and Economics freshman cohort.

  6. Management of graduate academic engagement and research publication requirements:
    (1) Proposed regulations on graduate student participation in academic activities organized by the School of Law and Economics.
    (2) Supplementary provisions to the Evaluation and Accreditation Measures for High-Level Academic Achievements of Doctoral Candidates at China University of Political Science and Law within the Law and Economics program.

  7. Allocation arrangements for the School’s research operational funds and financial expenditures.
